Now we have arrived home, my partner and I would like to express our thanks and praise to your safari jeep driver “Nick” and feel he is worthy of a special mention to you , his boss.
We booked a jeep safari on Tuesday 29th March to go up to the Troodos mountains. Our arrival at the pick up point, Nick was already there (early , I might add ) giving the jeep “The Beast” a final once over with a cloth making sure it looking best. After picking up 3 more couples , 2 English and 1 Russian , we set off , the sun was shining and on what turned out to be a remarkable and fascinating day !!
Shortly in to our trip, Nick stopped off at a dam where we all introduced ourselves. I mention this because it was here that Nick made a point of speaking to the Russia couple (the woman spoke a bit of English and the guy very little indeed) to say he would try and explain in easy English and if they had any problems understanding to let him know. Nick also called out villages and landmarks along the way so the bloke could follow on his map. This I feel was important , it no doubt made them feel a bit more relaxed and included.
The safari itself was unbelievable. Nick was a book of knowledge on everything, is there nothing this man don’t know?!! From wildlife and plants, the village with some Indians and a man with goats, the abandoned houses from the “74 war, even the days hairdressers are closed by law!! 9 he’ll explain the one ! ) He made us all feel very comfortable with his polite and friendly manner, we ALL said it when we stopped for a lovely lunch near the top.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it was a amazing day, extremely interesting, the views, the food, educational and it was all down to Nick, he made it what it was. He really is a credit to your business and it’s a trip my partner and I will never forget.
Wishing you well in the future
